Oak Ridge has been integrating its scientific and its proven computer conceptual, coded, and analytical models with its process and multiple outcome simulations and prototypes. Hardware models include prototypes for the Army Corps Command Group Vehicle in 1991 and the future Command and Control Vehicle in 1992. Oak Ridge personnel provide independent verification and validation of software models, simulations, and prototypes. Oak Ridge developed, implemented, and demonstrated simulations for the processes and technical systems for all levels of command post training exercises for joint U.S.-Korean theater-level forces in 1992. Since 1994, Oak Ridge has supported operations other than war analysis and modeling for the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Unified Warfighting Commands.
