AFSCR 84-2: Production Readiness Review |
 | |
| |
3. PRR Staffing
3. PRR Staffing.
The PRR team must be staffed according to the functions involved. PRR teams
consist of SPO personnel, contract administration office (CAO) personnel,
contractors, and others as necessary.
| a. |
|
PRR team size and membership should be
determined by the scope of the review. Figure 1 shows the organization
of a typical team. The program manufacturing manager of PRR team
director will modify the team to fit the particular program. A PRR
conforming the full requirements of AFR 800-37 will require the broad
range of functional disciplines prescribed by the template categories in
paragraph 1. |
| b. |
|
The contractor PRR focal point should be in
a management position responsible for integrating production phase
activities. |
| c. |
|
Observers, such as the Air Force Product
Engineering Services Office (AF PESO) and DOD PESO, will have a
well-defined purpose for attending the PRR, such as to evaluate PRR
policy, production transition, or strategy; or to develop a headquarters
understanding of program status, risks, and strengths. |
| d. |
|
Independent reviews that occur in
conjunction with the PRR will be identified. |
