development program. However, developing actual training materials must wait
until a product design has been stabilized.
Training must receive the same degree of technical
expertise as product design.
Training is the balance between existing manning and new product design.
Sometimes, however, that balance can be better achieved by adjusting:
Effective training must be based on clear, well defined objectives
established in the training plan, training outline, and curriculum design. To
achieve effective training, include only material that supports the
established course objectives.
In general, effective training requires:
Using the most appropriate media
Input from LSA technical data
Input from subject matter experts
Technical documentation support
Appropriate and meaningful support training
Remember, effective training requires planning. It just does not
