Assessment Summary Chart|
The technical risk assessment
summary, although prepared after completion of the detail chart (next page),
should be the front page of your completed technical risk assessment
The blocks representing each critical process area which applies
to the current phase of your program are easiest to read when both color and
pattern are used to indicate whether the risk is high (red), moderate
(yellow), or low (green). Blocks representing critical process areas not
requiring assessment at this stage can be left uncolored.
After coloring the individual blocks, a judgement can be made
about risk in overall categories such as design or test by counting how many
of each color block appears in the category and, perhaps, weighing the
relative criticality of the different processes if there is not a clear
designation for that category.
