8.3.2.3.1 __Computation of
Theoretical Exponential Reliability Function__

When the form of the distribution is sufficiently well defined,
it is possible to estimate the reliability function in terms of the parameters
of the distribution. This method has the advantage of permitting utilization
of all the accumulated knowledge concerning the items in the population. In
addition, the reliability function can be summarized by specifying the values
of the parameters, and can be compared with other reliability functions merely
by comparing the values of the summarized data.

For the case of an equipment/system which is repaired upon
