method of part selection shall minimize the impact of parts obsolescence or
non-availability, as specified in the end item specification or contract.
Standard hardware, such as SEM, SPS, SES, and SBS may be used to minimize the
effects of obsolescence.
126.96.36.199 Parts control. The parts to be incorporated in the equipment shall be
controlled in accordance with MIL-STD-965, procedure I or II to the extent
specified in the end item specification.
