Basically, the solution to the problem of interference coupling to wires and cables requires:
- Identification of potential problem areas;
- Proper E3 cable design, including - selecting appropriate cable type - shielding - twisting - wire layout within cable (either circular or flat cables);
- Categorization of wires based upon signal level and device characteristics;
- Installation practices that include - separation - routing - shield termination - physical protection.
These solutions are addressed via discussion and practical example throughout this publication.
