Test Goals and Expectations

1. Production Goals

• To prepare a test and evaluation master plan that focuses on risk identification and uses allocated resources wisely
  

• To understand the goals of and the processes involved in true reliability growth testing, especially compared to reliability qualification tests
  

• To enable program assessment against the revised DoD 5000 series documents
  

2. Production Expectations

• Ability to identify areas of high technical risk in the testing process
  

• Ability to determine strategies for risk reduction and risk management
  

• Understanding that this course alone will not make participants competent practitioners of the controls and disciplines required to identify and manage technical risk, but that it will teach, by example, the importance of following these disciplines and will direct participants to the necessary resources to allow them to improve their own skills
