The Navy’s Best Manufacturing Practices
(BMP) Program will conduct a survey of CACI International Inc. the week
of November 5, 2007. Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, CACI employs
10,500 employees in more than 120 offices in the U.S. and Europe. CACI provides
IT and network solutions that improve communications and collaboration,
secure the integrity of information systems and networks, enhance data collection
and analysis, and increase efficiency and mission effectiveness. The BMP
survey will focus on CACI’s Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)
Program, an engineered and repeatable process used to develop cost-effective
maintenance. The military and industry have accepted RCM as the way to identify
the right maintenance for increasing operational availability by optimizing
preventive maintenance to ensure appropriate preventive and corrective maintenance.
The BMP Survey Team looks forward to visiting CACI International Inc. and
to showcasing their RCM Program’s best practices.
