The Inpro/Seal Company was presented the Best
Manufacturing Practices (BMP) Award for Excellence at a ceremony on July 13, 2007. The
BMP Award for Excellence honors those organizations that share their best practices with
the BMP Survey Team and are transferable to the U.S. Navy, DoD suppliers, and the U.S.
industrial base. BMP Surveys validate and document best practices used in industry,
government, and academia that are available for benchmarking and problem solving.
Inpro/Seal is the nation’s leading manufacturer of bearing isolators, with more than 2.5
million installed throughout the world in a variety of rotating equipment applications. The
company’s bearing isolation products and supporting materials provide the highest level of
permanent bearing protection available to any application by isolating a bearing from its
environment to keep it properly lubricated and uncontaminated throughout its projected
design life. Inpro/Seals are standard equipment on most industrial process and heavy-duty
slurry pumps in the U.S. and abroad.
Congratulations to the Inpro/Seal Company for winning the 2007 BMP Award for Excellence and
for sharing its best practices with the Navy’s Best Manufacturing Practices Survey
Team and the U.S. industrial base!
