IDS provides affordable and integrated solutions to a broad international and domestic customer base that includes the U.S. Missile Defense Agency, the U.S. Armed Forces, and the Department of Homeland Security. The DDG 1000 Zumwalt-Class Destroyer is America’s next generation, multi-mission naval destroyer. This revolutionary warship is designed specifically to counter fast-evolving 21st century threats. As the ship’s prime Mission Systems Integrator, Raytheon is responsible for the design of all Zumwalt electronic and combat systems and is leading the collaborative efforts of the Navy and other industry leaders to transform the Navy’s ship requirements to reality.
